Capital Project Description: Green Valley ES is a 50 year old building. There have been no significant renovations to this building other than occasional systemic projects. The FCI for the building is 52% and is classified as critical. The school currently serves grades K-5 and is operating at 138% of SRC. The Board of Education approved the recommendation of the Green Valley ES Feasibility Study to replace the school on a nearby site in the Landsdale community on Ed McLain Rd and Monrovia Boulevard utilizing our current elementary school prototype design. The cafeteria will be utilized by the local YMCA for before and after school care. The new 83,678 sq. ft building will have a State Rated Capacity for this project is 705. The project delivery method will be CM At Risk.
