Capital Project Description: Valley ES was originally constructed in 1967, with a small addition in 1974. No other significant renovations have been completed in nearly 50 years. The FCI for the building is 52% and is classified as critical. The Board of Education recently approved the recommendation of the Valley ES Feasibility Study to replace the school on site, utilizing our current elementary school prototype design including the alternative education spaces (2 special ed classrooms) and a cooperative Parks & Recreation gym. The new 92,196 sq ft building will have a state rated capacity for the project will be 705. The project delivery method will be CM At Risk.
