Capital Project Description: Frederick County Parks have a number of athletic fields and tennis/basketball courts that have lighting systems that have reached the end of their respective lift cycle. Parks that would be included in this project: Ballenger Creek Park (three softball fields), Libertytown Park (one baseball field, one basketball court and three tennis courts), Pinecliff Park (five softball fields), Point of Rocks Community Park (one basketball court and two tennis courts). Project would include evaluating existing light poles for structural concerns, replace any/all hazardous poles, replace existing heads with LED lighting and electrical systems.
