Capital Project Description: Liberty ES is a multi- story building, with nearly 43,000 square feet, originally constructed in 1927 with additions in 1950, 1967 and 1982. Other than a minor renovation in 1982, there have been no other significant renovations of this school. This project will replace the existing school with a new prototype elementary school to provide a modern facility to meet the current educational specifications and curricular requirements. A feasibility study to define the scope of work was completed in April 2019. The school has a current SRC of 274; the replacement school is expected to have a SRC of 705.
