Capital Project Description: Site was acquired in 2010 and a Park Master Plan was completed in 2019. Park development would begin on the eastern side of the property, accessed off of Tuscarora Road (Maryland Route 28), to include the following facilities: park entrance, multipurpose athletic fields (one of which would be synthetic turf), roadways, parking lots, playground, restrooms, paved nature trails, picnic shelter, landscaping, utilities and rough grading to the remainder of the eastern side of the property for development in future phase(s). Additional phases will be determined in future CIP requests.
