Capital Project Description: This project would retrofit the 343 Montevue Lane warehouses which consist of two metal buildings totaling approximately 9,650 square feet. The warehouses were originally built in 1984, and underwent minor exterior aesthetic improvements in 2018 were used predominately for storage by the Board of Elections, Division of Public Works and Division of Parks and Recreation. The recent vacancy of the Board of Elections allows the space to be repurposed for maximize efficient use while satisfying the needs of various user agencies allowing for Fleet Services to preform vehicle upfittings, an efficient location for the Dept. of Highway Operations Tree Crew, and additional space for the Division of Parks and Recreation. Improvements would include offices, restrooms, electrical service and lighting upgrades, vehicle lift, new insulation and HVAC systems.
