Capital Project Description: This project serves to provide resources to carry out public safety system maintenance and upgrade work at the County ’ s 13 communications tower and/or dispatch sites not covered by other projects. Work includes: Replacing equipment approaching obsolescence pro-actively to improve reliability and performance (Uninterruptible power supplies; Back-up batteries; Site fault monitoring) Improve security (Convert lighting to LED and add selective remote lighting control; Provide/add security camera coverage; Enhance door access and compound gate control
