Capital Project Description: The replacement Middletown Elementary/Middletown Middle School is expected to have a state rated capacity (SRC) of 523 elementary school students and 839 middle school students. The two schools will be co-located to the east of the existing middle school and will operate independently, utilizing separate administrative and classroom spaces. Core spaces, such as the kitchen and building services, will be shared. The new schools are anticipated to open in the fall of 2027, after which the existing elementary and middle school buildings will be demolished, followed by the completion of site vehicular circulation, parking, and playfield development.
