Capital Project Description: This project renovates 30,245 GSF of Catoctin Hall (Building C) and includes a two-story (28,352 GSF) building addition. Additional academic space will allow for the expansion of workforce development programs and space for innovative collaboration between the institution and business/industry partners. Functions include science and biotechnology labs, an innovation center serving the FCC community and other entrepreneurial initiatives, instructional spaces for STEM programs, offices, a lecture hall, and support spaces. This project will require reconfiguration of Parking Lot 5 and will result in a net loss of parking spaces. A Facility Program Part I and Part II for this project was submitted to the State as required for inclusion in the FY27 State CIP budget request.
