Capital Project Description: This project renovates 35,872 GSF of existing space at the Athletics Center (Building D) and includes a single-story addition (43,356 GSF) building addition. Once completed there will be academic space for health sciences, workforce development and community education, and athletics. Functions will include athletic performance activity areas, athletic department support areas, fitness facilities, general-purpose classrooms, specialized state-of-the-art laboratories, support spaces and offices. A Facility Program Part I and Part II for this project was submitted to the State as required for inclusion in a future State CIP budget request.
