Communications x Public safety communications site systemics – This project provides resources to carry out public safety system maintenance and upgrade work at the County’s 13 communication towers and/or dispatch sites not covered by other projects x County radio system upgrade to MPLS – This project will provide hardware, software, and services to convert the County’s radio system to a multi-protocol layer switching (MPLS) network in FY28 x Portable Radio Replacement – This project funds periodic replacement of the County’s portable and mobile subscriber radio fleet to ensure reliable performance x Radio System Improvements – This project will double the capacity of the County radio system and improve overall system reliability. Funding is scheduled for FY26 x Gambrill Tower Shelter Replacement – This project will replace the shelter structure from 1976. Funding is scheduled for FY26 x PSTF Consoles – This will match consoles at the Public Safety Training Facility backup center to the new 911 center at the Prospect Center with funding in FY27 Library Facilities x Linganore Town Center Library is scheduled for design funding in FY27 x CEAP-Energy & Resiliency – This project supports County goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with various projects that may include building energy retrofits, resiliency and adaptation projects, microgrids, building electrification, solar and other clean energy installations and other technologies. Funding is scheduled in FY26 x EV Infrastructure – This projects funds upgrades to electric service, connection of service to charging sites and the installation of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure to support transitioning the County’s fleet to electric vehicles. Funding is scheduled in FY26-FY31 x CEAP Planning – This will be used to conduct additional studies on resiliency hubs, microgrids, onsite and offsite solar feasibility and other projects as needed. Funding is scheduled in FY26, FY28 and FY30 x Construction Building Energy Performance – This project will address Building Energy Performance Standards to meet requirements created by Maryland’s Climate Solutions Now Act with funding in FY26-FY32 Renovations/Relocations x Westside Library is scheduled for construction funding in FY26 x North Frederick Library has funding for a study scheduled for FY27 x C Burr Artz Library Remodel is scheduled for design funding in FY31 Climate and Energy
x Adult Detention Center Courtyard Offices – will convert an existing open courtyard into office space that will be used for mental health counselors with construction funding scheduled in FY26 x Space Modernization will fund a study in FY27 to determine how to reconfigure spaces from agencies that have moved to the Prospect Center x Courthouse Capacity Improvement Project – will address future needs of the court system. Construction is funded beginning in FY28 x Montevue Campus Renovation and Reconfiguration – will reconfigure 331 Montevue Lane to address staffing requirements and also traffic patterns around the facility. Design funding in FY30 x CCRC Montevue Renovation – will convert the second floor of the Montevue Assisted Living Facility from Assisted Living occupancy to a Skilled Nursing occupancy and make
