Capital Project Description: Spring Ridge ES was constructed in 1991 and has been identified as qualifying for a limited renovation due to its age and facility condition index (FCI). The limited renovation will renovate or replace more than 5 building systems and improve building finishes for the entire 66,276 sq ft building including cooperative use space for 647 students. The project will improve size and adjacencies of existing spaces, provide code compliance, focus on energy efficiency and reduce operating costs, and upgrade building systems to current FCPS standards. The project will be completed in two phases over the summers of 2024 and 2025 to minimize disruption.
