Capital Project Description: Brunswick Elementary was originally constructed in 1952 and had additions and renovations in 1959, 1978, and 1980. It currently has a SRC of 508, operating at 140% of state rated capacity (SRC) with an equated enrollment of 710 students. The replacement BES will house grades pre-k through 5th grade and will have a state rated capacity of 705 students with a Park School gymnasium. The new school will be approximately 90,000 gross square feet (GSF) on the existing school site, utilizing an adjacent dedicated school site, to create a larger school. The new school is expected to be open and occupied in August 2023. **The Park School portion of this project is budgeted in PR3501.
