Capital Project Description: This project will improve the roadway section from Elmer Derr Road south to MD 28 in Point of Rocks. The project includes on construction of street bike lanes, geometric improvements, drainage improvements and other safety upgrades to meet current standards for an arterial roadway. The 2021 ADT at Cap Stine Road is 2,215 vehicles per day and the 2021 ADT near Calico Rock Rd is 1,375 vehicles per day. Construction could be completed in multiple phases depending outcome of preliminary study.
