Division of Animal Control

Continuity of operations is an important component of the Animal Control Division. In FY2024, the Pet and Adoption Center will begin an extensive renovation project. Animal adoptions will continue without interruption as will our core functions. Our new animal shelter will be a tremendous benefit to the homeless and stray animals we house and a resource to the Frederick County community.
