Capital Project Description: Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services seeks to implement a standardized, county-wide fire/rescue station alerting system. APS Firehouse Alerting ¶ s FASTweb Alerting System will provide standard non-emergency and emergency display information, and alerting system features across all fire/rescue stations with the following key features: -Compliance with NFPA 1221, Standard for the Installation, Maintenance, and Use of Emergency Services Communications Systems. -Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) interface with selected Frederick County Government ¶ s Computer Aided Dispatch provider. -Automated text-to-speech of incident dispatch information over each fire station ¶ s public address system. -Standardized audible and visual alerting and display of incident information. -Shared non-emergency information among all fire/rescue stations.
