Priority Budget Enhancements

Energy & Environment - Reflects the move from the County Administration budget to a new division. Ten new positions were added: A Stormwater Department Head, an Administrative Specialist, a Climate & Energy Manager, a Sustainability Program Administrator, a Business Analyst, a Communications Manager, a Grants Manager, two Project Managers, and an Environmental Inspector. $4.5 million additional transfer to the Debt Service and Capital Project Funds to fund capital projects Union contract obligations for county employees and implementation of a new wage scale for non-union county employees Solid Waste & Recycling (Sold Waste Fund) Three positions and capital equipment were added to the budget. Additional funds for contracted services. Water & Sewer Utilities (Water/Sewer Fund) Three positions and capital equipment/vehicles
