Capital Project Description: A new replacement Urbana Elementary School, housing grades Pre-K-5, is under construction on the existing Urbana ES site located on Urbana Pike in Urbana. While the school is constructed, Urbana ES students are temporarily re-located to the new Sugarloaf ES building. The new Urbana Elementary School will be a multi-story facility totaling 98,178 gross square feet (GSF) with a 725 state rated capacity (SRC). The new Urbana Elementary School is expected to be open for students by August 2020.
