Capital Project Description: This project primarily relieves overcrowding at Hillcrest, Waverley and Orchard Grove elementary schools. The approved redistricting associated with the establishment of the BRES attendance area also revised 8 elementary, 4 middle and 2 high school attendance areas. Hillcrest ES is currently operating at 140% of SRC with 34 portables, Waverley ES is currently operating at 137% of SRC with 12 portables, and Orchard Grove ES is at 94% of SRC with 3 portables. The new elementary school will be located on a 12 acre site, donated by Frederick City, which is located on Butterfly Lane. The new school will have a state rated capacity (SRC) of 725 students and will open in August 2018. **The park school portion of this project is budgeted PR3501
