About The Division

The Non - Departmental Divisional Unit only exists in the general fund and fiduciary funds. Recently , it is also being used in the grant fund to track federal/state pandemic grants. It consists of several departments that are not associated with any one division. The divisional unit consists of twelve departments: County Non - Departmental, Personnel Non - Departmental, Finance Non - Departmental, Risk Management Non - Departmental, Debt Service, Contingencies, Transfer to Other Funds, Transfer to Grant Funds, Transfer to Other Governments, Pension Trust, OPEB Trust, and LOSAP Trust.

Budget Highlights The FY25 budget includes: · County Non - Departmental - increases in various membership dues and establish several grants · Personnel Non - Departmental - establish funding to address results from compensation and classification study, increases to employee benefits, and other miscellaneous contracted services · Risk Non - Departmental - increase in insurance premiums · Debt service - increase related to the fall 2024 bond issue · Transfer to Grant Funds - overall decrease related to SAFER grant end ing (transfer positions to general fund) and re - alignment of serval other grant general fund over match requirements. · Transfer to Other funds - increase to Capital Fund including the dedica tion of additional property tax rate revenues Fiduciary funds have been updated based on the actuarial determined contri bution or financial policy.
