Health Insurance The Health Insurance Fund is an internal service fund for premiums collected within county departments. These funds are redistributed to the health insurance fund for eventual payment of claims and administrative fees.

The Health Insurance Fund is experiencing higher claims than in previous years. Healthcare premiums increased for both the employer and employee, effective January 1, 2025. An increase for January 1, 2026 is also reflected, however this is subject to change as rates are not determined until later in the fiscal year.
