Debt Service-General Government

Debt Service-General Government Established during FY17, the Debt Service Fund accounts for the accumulations of resources for the payment of general long-term debt principal and interest for governmental funds.

The governmental funds include: General Fund Agricultural Preservation Fund Hotel Room Rental Tax Fund

Parks Acquisitions/Development Fund Impact Fees/School Mitigation Fund School Construction Fund

Budget Highlights In FY25 there was a bond issuance including $182.3M for general fund bonds and in FY27 another bond issuance will occur in the Summer of 2026.

The FY26 budget includes debt service based on the new issuance of bonds from FY25.
