Grants

Grants The grant fund accounts for Federal and State grant revenues and expenditures. This fund is a special revenue fund and receives revenues from Federal and State grant programs and expends these funds in accordance with the terms of the grants. The County’s General Fund also supports the grant programs. Budget Highlights Mid-year FY24 grants were established in the FY25 budget which added positions. However, this was offset by the transfer of Fire Rescue Safer Grant positions into the General Fund. Other re-alignments occurred in the Division of Family Services and some General Fund over-match was reprogrammed back into the General Fund. In addition, there was an increase in grant funding to support the purchase/replacement of Transit vehicles, housing, and other county needs. All personnel budgets have been updated to reflect changes in salaries and benefits based on proposed adjustments, contracts, individual benefit elections, tax laws, etc.
