Mission The mission of the Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office is to promote public safety and foster a sense of security in our community by holding people accountable for violating the law and pursuing justice in a fair, honest, efficient and ethical manner. Services Provided: · Prosecute all criminal, juvenile, and serious traffic offenses enforcement to provide information and services education and promote confidence in the criminal justice system · Utilize diversion programs as an alternative form of justice for the community · Work with local law · Provide community About The Division

Budget Highlights The FY25 budget includes two new position. One is to be assigned to the Special Victims Unit and the other was establish mid - year FY24 and is grant - funded. All personnel budgets have been updated to reflect changes in salaries and benefits based on proposed adjustments, contracts, individual benefit elec tions, tax laws, etc.
