FY2024 Adopted Budget Capital Improvement Program

General Government

Renovations/Relocations x Courthouse Capacity Improvement Project – will address future needs of the court system. Design is funded in FY24 with construction funding in FY25-FY26 and FY28 x Adult Detention Center Courtyard Offices – will convert an existing open courtyard into office space that will be used for mental health counselors with construction funding scheduled in FY26 x Work Release Parking Lot Expansion – construct an additional parking lot due to increase of vehicles due to Detox services project at the Work Release Center. Construction funding is scheduled in FY24 x Montevue Campus Renovation and Reconfiguration – will reconfigure 331 Montevue Lane to address staffing requirements and also traffic patterns around the facility. Design funding in FY28 x Animal Control Addition – this project will add additional space for employees and animals and renovate the existing facility. Construction funding is scheduled in FY24 x 30 North Market Street First Floor Interior Redesign – will include installation of security features in the Treasury area. Construction funding is scheduled in FY24 x Montevue Renovation – will convert the second floor of the Montevue Assisted Living Facility from Assisted Living occupancy to a Skilled Nursing occupancy and make other associated evaluation and replacement of major systems as necessary. Construction is funded in FY24 x Taney Avenue Senior Center Renovation – will include the replacement and/or upgrade of the HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, which will require renovations throughout the facility. Construction in funded in FY28 New/Expanded Facilities

x Prospect Center Building Acq & Build Out – this facility was purchased in FY22. Funding to build out the facility for other County departments to utilize the building including a new 911 Center. Construction funding is scheduled for FY24-29 x Public Safety Training Facility Maintenance Shop and Garages – this new facility will increase efficiencies in operation for both the Division of Fire and Rescue and Fleet Services. Construction funding is scheduled in FY29 x East County Senior Center – this project will build a County owned Senior Center with design funding scheduled for FY25

Senior Center

x Brunswick Senior Center – this project has funding in FY24 for a study for a senior center in Brunswick x Montevue Senior Living – this project will construct a multi-level senior living facility with approximately eighty four units, with accommodations for independent living, parking, and a potential community center. Design is funded in FY28

Maintenance Systemics – General - Various projects are proposed throughout the six-year CIP for parking and roadway site improvements, energy management systems maintenance and replacement, roof repairs, HVAC repairs and replacements, and miscellaneous improvements
