Capital Project Description: This project involves the annual purchase and/or relocation of portable classrooms. There are currently 133 county owned portable classrooms, one 4-classroom state-owned unit, and 14 additional county-owned portable buildings that are not classroom spaces in use. Since many of these units are over 30 years old, a portion of the budget is identified to replace existing portables. The budgeted amounts may change from year to year depending upon enrollment growth and status of school overcrowding. **Prior budget is in separate project numbers**
