Capital Project Description: This project will convert a decommissioned waste water treatment plant for use as a brine production facility serving parts of three different Highway Districts. The conversion will include the demolition of two existing metal tanks to allow for the setting of two 12,500 gallon storage tanks on an existing concrete pad. New water and sewer connections to existing public utilities on site will provide a suitable source of water for a trailer-mounted brine maker, and the conversion of two block buildings for office space, as well as a potential bunk room for staff.
