Grants

Grants The grant fund accounts for Federal and State grant revenues and expenditures. This fund is a special revenue fund and receives revenues from Federal and State grant programs and expends these funds in accordance with the terms of the grants. 7KH &RXQW\¶V *HQHUDO )XQG DOVR VXSSRUWV WKH JUDQW SURJUDPV

Budget Highlights

Five positions (4.25 FTEs ) were added in FY23 and one positon (1 FTE) was approved mid year in FY22. This was offset by a reallocation of other FTEs. Operating expenses were added for Housing Projects, Senior Services Meal Programs, and the purchase/replacement of several Transit vehicles and expansion of the Transit Plus Program. All personnel budgets include the second year of a multi year phase in to adjust the salaries of certain positions to reflect current market rates as well as adjustments to salary scales. Changes in salaries and benefits based on contracts, individual benefit elections, tax laws, etc., are also included.
