Capital Project Description: Addressing space limitations at the Frederick County Courthouse was a priority identified in the 2013 Countywide Synergy and Efficiency Concept Plan, and the Administrative Office of the Court's Workload Analysis for FY2015 confirmed the need for additional Circuit Court space. This project builds a 45,500 sq.ft. addition to the Courthouse atop the landscaped entrance plaza to address the space needs of the Circuit Court and County agencies currently occupying the building.
