Capital Project Description: A Space Needs Assessment was completed in 2020, which identified various Frederick County agencies' requirements for additional space. The Assessment evaluated the agencies' space requirements based on a ten-year projection. Two agencies that require immediate attention are Emergency Management and IIT. This project will include an addition to the existing Backup 911 Center on the Montevue Campus. This two-story expansion, of approximately 35,000 square feet, will include additional space for Emergency Management and IIT. The additional space requirements are consistent with the Space Needs Assessment report. Additional parking will also be included in the project.
