Capital Project Description: This project involves the annual purchase and/or relocation of portable classrooms. There are currently 150 county- owned portable classrooms, one 4-classroom state-owned unit, and 27 additional county-owned portable classrooms that are not classroom spaces in use. Since many of these units are over 30 years old, we will need to devote part of the annual allocation to refurbishing existing portables. The budgeted amounts may change from year to year depending upon enrollment growth and status of school overcrowding. **Prior budget is in separate project numbers**
