Capital Project Description: Currently, Waverley Elementary School has 17 portable classrooms and a state rated capacity (SRC) of 355. The Board of Education approved a recommendation to replace the school with a much larger facility, with an SRC of 1019. The replacement WAVES, housing grades pre-k through 5th grade, will be constructed on the existing property currently shared with the Rock Creek School and will include space to provide additional student support services, such as reading and math intervention and English Language programs. Construction is anticipated to be completed by August of 2022.
